So the past year has been a non starter for fitness.
2 years ago I ran the Great Scottish Run 10km in an alright time. Had the brilliant idea to run the half-marathon the following year and then the marathon this year.
I ran the half-marathon last September in Glasgow, well, when I say ran I completed it.
I did plan to run the marathon in Edinburgh this year .... but withdrew my entry.
So, with 357 days from starting this blog until the next Edinburgh Marathon.....easy! Well if it was then I'd have done it last year and everyone else would be doing it.
It's a long road ahead and needs my commitment.
Entries for the Great Scottish Run Half-Marathon in September and the Edinburgh Marathon (May 2013) are both in.
If I want to complete the marathon successfully the next year will be tough.
Weekly weigh in to track my target of losing 3 stone and sticking to the training plan.
Target 1 - GSR2012 Half Marathon. Sticking to the 3 runs a week no matter what!
